Why can't I swipe the main two wheels?
Because I haven't built that. Rotating the keys would be easy but the uneven slices of intervals makes it difficult.
BUT there's also a practical reason - once you have chosen your Key Signature and Mode, you don't want to accidentaly turn the wheels and mess it up. Spinning the wheels and looking how it all switches is fun, but that's actually not a real-life scenario of how to use it :D
Why is there no sound?
Because you should have your instrument in your hands and this App in front of you! Look up the notes in this App and then try to play them on your instrument. I might add sound in the future, it just wasn't on the list of important upgrades so far.
Also, it would make the App from super light weight (~10MB) into.... not super light weight!
Why can't I input notes on the fretboard?
Why would you want that? There are no new chords to discover. You can browse all chords by going through Modes and if you do it this way, you will also learn where the chord comes from and to what other chords it is connected.
For example: the V chord with C form in E Major Key is B Major chord, but if you make it 7th, it becomes this fantastic Dom7 chord in Root position: B - D♯ - A - B - F♯
There are already Apps that show what your note combination is called. I don't think we needed another one that does the same. Having said that, it might be something I do in the near future!
I didn't invent circles, parabolic shapes or flowers, I just gathered all the knowledge and discovered my own Arrangement of Theory. And the Arrangement together with my unique touch is the part that belongs to me. If you were inspired by my work, please give me credit for that - mention my name and this website. I'm just a struggling artist trying to get by, you can help me out by crediting me.
